Our unrelenting focus is to provide nutritious food to our neighbors in a respectful manner while engaging our community in the fight against hunger.

We believe that access to nutritious food is a basic human right. We are committed to responding to the needs of our community by providing food distribution and support services with dignity and respect.

Our Work

Christian Cupboard Emergency Food Shelf (CCEFS) was established in 1983, and up until 2018 was hosted at Woodbury Lutheran Church. In 2018 a new building opened on the grounds of Guardian Angels Church. CCEFS is a registered nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation, and all donations to the organization are tax deductible.

 

Connecting Community Breakfast – 2019

Join the east metro community on Tuesday morning, September 10, 2019 from 7 AM to 9 AM where Emmy Award Winning special guest Mark Scharenbroich will explain how you can mix thousands and thousands of black leather, bandana wearing, tattoo bearing Harley-Davidson riders and one beige rental car to create the perfect metaphor for connecting with others: “Nice Bike.”

The event will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton – St. Paul East, 2201 Burns Avenue St. Paul, MN 55119.

BRING YOUR CHECKBOOK. Hosted by the Christian Cupboard Emergency Food Shelf, with support from Securian Financial, the Connecting Community Breakfast raises operating funds to support the Christian Cupboard’s mission.

All proceeds benefit the Christian Cupboard Emergency Food Shelf.

Registration is $25 per person, by September 1 ($35 after), and can be purchased securely online. If you, your company, church or fraternal organization would like to purchase a table for 10 for $250, you can use the same link.
